Abstract
sigma is a tool that may be used in any business to improve the performance of existing processes, products, and components. Six-sigma is a quality
tool that is used to increase productivity, reduce faults, and make processes more cost-effective. In addition, the six-sigma technique uses statistical
techniques to assist maximize profitability, increase market share, and improve customer satisfaction, which can lead to quantum leaps in quality.
This technique was tested in an experiment that involved the application of the welding processes. The goal of this work is to provide an overview
of recent research on this technology with a focus on the critical aspects of welding.
